‘Jon Harmon Feldman and Jennifer Gwartz, of Random Hill, sold an adaptation of the upcoming book Lost Boys and Technicolor Girls by Alice Berman, and a half-hour comedy Ex-Best based on the web series. The projects stem from Random Hill’s overall deal at ABC Studios and will be produced by cable/streaming division ABC Signature Studios in association with Random Hill.
Adapted by Jake Coburn, Lost Boys and Technicolor Girls centers on 18-year-old Thomas Zimmer who went missing seven years ago, splintering a tight-knit group of best friends on Manhattan’s exclusive Upper East Side. Seven years later, Thomas Zimmer turns up dead, launching a high-profile murder investigation that brings this group of twenty-somethings back together as murder suspects, rekindling old friendships and old flames, and threatening to expose their deepest darkest secrets. No publisher has been set with the title or release date.
Coburn, Gwartz and Feldman executive produce.
Gwartz and Feldman serve as executive producers. Hewes and Gettinger will co-executive produce.
Random Hill’s Michael Greenwald brought in both projects and will oversee their development.‘
